Meet Your Therapist
Kimberly Day, LCP
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LCP) practicing in Kansas. I earned my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Washburn University in 2022, I also gained my my internship experience at KU’s Counseling and Psychological Services. In addition to my clinical work, I helped co-author a chapter on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Social Anxiety Disorder in the ADAA Patient Guide to Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
My approach is informed by cognitive behavioral, dynamic, and relational-based therapies, combining practical tools with deeper exploration of patterns and relationships.
My style is warm, reflective, and honest - I aim to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported in exploring difficult emotions and experiences. My work is grounded in evidence-based care, while also making space to understand you as a whole person shaped by your lived experiences.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with honesty, compassion, and curiosity while helping you better understand yourself, strengthen the tools you already have, and navigate life’s challenges with more confidence, I’d be honored to work with you!
